How-to

How speakers get live audience feedback

Feedback arrives in two passes: reactions and questions while the slides are up, then a star rating and comment after you end the session.

Screenshot setup for creating the talk, presenting, and opening the attendee view is how to run a talk. This page is what happens to audience response during and after that session.

Steps

  1. 1.Go live and share the join link

From the talk, open Present and put the session QR code or link where the room can reach it. People join in the phone browser. Speakers can run 5 talks on the free tier. Slide setup, Phone remote, and the attendee screens are in the run-a-talk guide.

  2. 2.Watch reactions and questions during the talk

Emoji float over the slides you are presenting. The six choices and the optional 160-character note are explained in live emoji reactions for talks. Questions of up to 200 characters are upvoted by the room. The present view shows the top five unanswered questions, highest votes first, in a panel beside the slides. You can dismiss one when you have answered it.

  3. 3.End the session

End session asks you to confirm. Attendees still on the link are shown the feedback form. Questions are saved to the talk, and the reaction count is stored with them. You can also project the live wall during the talk if the room should see the same question order.

  4. 4.Let the room rate the talk

The form is a star rating in half-star steps and an optional comment. A rating is required before submit. One submission is kept per attendee. If they open the form again, they see that feedback was already submitted. There is no second account step.

  5. 5.Read the results on the talk

On the talk in the dashboard, finished sessions show the question count, the reaction count, Q&A history, and the feedback summary: average score, how the stars are distributed, and the comments that were left. That is the record you keep after the room has cleared.

  6. 6.Speaker Pro socials, if you use them

After a successful submit, Speaker Pro can show the public profile links (the networks you filled in) under a follow-the-speaker block. The profile has to be public and Pro has to be active. Pricing is €7/month or €5/month billed yearly, on the pricing page.
